J's first IEP meeting was yesterday. For those not it the special needs world, this stands for Individualized Education Plan and it is a document stating what services J will receive in school for the next year.
Everything went well, and J will start the preschool at Leawood Elementary on Monday. This is bitter sweet. We are so excited for his new teachers and therapists but we are sad to leave the CCVI preschool. The Children's Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) is to thank for J's great vision improvements over the last three years and we will always be part of the CCVI family...see the Trolley Run link on the right? Team John 2009 is coming!
So B's question for me is, "Now that you will have 4 mornings free, what improvements am I going to see around the house?" Cleaning? Cooking? All the above, plus I plan to hit the gym and lose the last 10 pounds of baby weight. My baby is almost 3 years old!
